Refund Policy
How refunds and cancellations work for payments made on the JPL Bahrain platform.
1. What This Covers
This Refund Policy applies to registration fees, league and tournament participation fees, academy fees, and any other charges paid through the JPL Bahrain platform, operated by JPL Tournaments WLL (CR 184821-1). All payments are made in Bahraini Dinar (BHD) and processed by our payment provider, Tap Payments. This policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
2. Registration & Participation Fees
Registration and participation fees are non-refundable from the point of registration. Places, fixtures, coaching, and league entry are committed in advance on the basis of each registration, so fees cannot normally be returned once a place has been taken.
In genuine exceptional circumstances — for example a documented medical issue or a relocation that prevents participation — a partial or full refund may be considered at JPL's discretion. Requests of this kind are assessed individually and require supporting documentation.
3. If JPL Cancels
If JPL cancels a league, tournament, or programme before it begins, you will receive a full refund. If an event is cancelled part-way through for reasons within our control, we will refund the fair unused portion of your fee, or offer a credit toward a future season or event where you prefer.
4. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not refundable:
- fees for sessions, matches, or events that have already taken place;
- administrative or registration processing charges, where clearly stated at checkout;
- fees where a place has been withdrawn due to a serious breach of our Terms or Safeguarding Policy.
Where a refund is approved, any non-refundable payment-processing costs charged by our provider may be deducted from the amount returned.
5. How to Request a Refund
Email andrew@jplgcc.com with the account name, the player or team name, the payment date, and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
6. How Refunds Are Paid
Approved refunds are returned through Tap Payments to your original payment method, in BHD. Once approved, refunds are typically processed within 7–14 business days, though the exact timing depends on your bank or card issuer.
